About
I am a Visiting Assistant Professor of Data Analytics in the Campbell School of Business at Berry College.
I am a data scientist, statistician, and applied economist working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics.
My research spans cognitive science, EEG-based and computational modeling. I study human learning and decision-making under uncertainty using computational cognitive models and EEG data, and I develop machine learning methods to analyze neural and behavioral signals.
In parallel, I am interested in AI applications for sustainable development and agriculture. My applied work focuses on food insecurity forecasting, the impacts of natural disasters on well-being, and the use of AI and sensor data to support resilient and sustainable agricultural systems.
Prior to joining Berry College, I earned a Ph.D. in Applied Economics in 2024, a Master’s degree in Economics from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Master’s degree in Statistics and Applied Mathematics from the City University of New York in 2017. My graduate studies also include a Master’s degree in Environmental and Plant Pathology Sciences.
Outside of work, I enjoy jogging, painting, and swimming.
