About

I am a Visiting Assistant Professor of Data Analytics in the Campbell School of Business at Berry College. Prior to this, I earned a Ph.D. in Applied Economics in 2024, a Master’s degree in Economics from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Master’s degree in Statistics and Applied Mathematics from the City University of New York in 2017. My graduate studies also include a Master’s degree in Environmental and Plant Pathology Sciences.

I am a data analyst and applied economist working on issues at the intersection of machine learning, sustainable development and agricultural economics. My research focuses on the impact of natural disasters on well-being and on alleviation strategies including sustainable agricultural practices. I am interested in food insecurity drivers working on applications of machine learning techniques in food security prediction.

Other than data analytics, I enjoy jogging, painting, and swimming.
